They do not like seeing that your portfolio outperforms their experts' by several fold. If other customers get wind of this that would ruin their business... So they want you to stop, because you are making them look very bad (in terms of financial performance).

In Vegas, when you start hitting it too big at the blackjack table for too long, the nice 350-pound gentleman from security escorts you to a little back room to ask you a few polite questions. Same principle.

Well, now I'm kinda sad that Fidelity hasn't contacted me yet. Let me use this Benjamin as a tissue...

Ah, there’s the problem. That may be what you thought you said.

But what we heard was "missing the forest for the trees." (Well, at least the more charitable of us)

I read that that SP made Tesla more valuable than all OEMS. COMBINED.

That led me to: So?

Since when is Tesla like any other OEMs? Rather than listing all the ways that Tesla is different, I’ll list all the ways they are the same:

1. They all make a metal rectangular box that rolls on wheels, with a steering wheel, brakes, climate control, seats, windows and doors.

The end.

Just got back from picking up my S after being without it for a week. FINALLY upgraded and running HW3 and MCU2! Need to put it through my torture test drive this weekend. Can already tell it's MUCH better that my orig Dec '16 autopilot H/W...

But then I got home, and with minutes to spare before the market closed, saw what you all did! Shame on all of you!

I guess it's my fault for not asking you all to hold the fort before I ran out the door... :(

Okay, damage control: There were many people picking up their new cars! While I didn't go in to count heads (forgot my stupid mask in a moment of exuberance as I left!) I'd say there were 3-4 picking up outside as I drove by, and 6-10? inside waiting, although I don't know for sure if they were accepting delivery, or waiting for their cars being serviced. I suspect the former, as picking up from service you're directed to wait in your car for a call after checking in.

So for a Tuesday afternoon, in light of COVID-19, I'd say the place was hopping with soon to be Tesla owners! Expecting good news tomorrow.

My bet has been placed for a long time and so far I’m winning substantially despite any predictions you make
I guess you missed my post earlier today where I said I’m an original Roadster owner who put his Battery Warranty money into TSLA instead.
It’s likely my oldest shares are older than yours, so spare me the lecture.

Big sale on Kool-Aid this week?

Possibly. Or maybe lessons learned. Kool-Aid has a long shelf life and it’s already getting pricey for some people.

None of us knows for sure what the SP will be tomorrow or next month because we aren’t the ones controlling it. We’re all making best guesses.

What I objected to was your TSLA SP market cap comparison to all other OEMS market caps, as if that was somehow a comparable metric. It’s not for all the reasons listed on the last several pages.

I have learned my lesson trying to trade Tesla and being too clever. One big success to 2 slightly bigger failures.
They're both down after hours.
Damn. Last I checked iRobot was up 6%.
