Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Yeah, my boys love theirs and I certainly won’t be sending it back. There’s a very clearly stated 150 lb weight limit and I question if a kid AND adult riding simultaneously met that limit.
$1B is the amount of money the fossil fuel industry was subsidized during an average 1.5 hour period during 2020 alone.
Elon: “I’ll go without subsidies if you a-holes do too.”
Good post. I have a lot of knowledge of GM’s plans due to my current occupation. With that said, I wouldn’t drive any of their EVs (or any GM vehicle actually) if you gave it to me. I COULD be paid to take it so I could put the money into TSLA and then drive the car off a cliff for a...
Wonderful day for a retirement transfer from an old job account to finally hit my IRA.
This isn’t just investing. It’s much more personal. More shares locked away forever.
I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with Tesla customer service. Recently, a Tesla mobile unit came and repaired wheel well damage on my X from debris in the road and they were on time, did a terrific job and the price charged was more than fair.
A battery plant in Tennessee has been much discussed for the last 18 months. I live ten minutes from one of the sites still in the running...a site that’s right beside GM’s largest North American plant.
Haven’t been to the local Tesla dealership in a while...just no need...but we wanted to add a Y to our X so we went in today to give the Y a look-see and...holy smokes...joint was hopping.
Demand in the southeastern US is through the roof...which (as usual) reminded me of a song...
Tesla needs 780,369 cars produced in 2021 to be on pace for 20,000,000 cars produced by the end of the decade. No complicated math, just working backwards from 20,000,000 through dividing by 1.5 each year. Everything is on target. If Elon confirms that he’ll be at 6,000,000 cars produced by...
Q4 2019 deliveries were announced on Friday, January 3rd at 112,000 and later upped to a final tally of 112,095. Applying that same percentage to Q4 2020 would up the total by 153 deliveries giving year end deliveries of 499,703. A remarkable achievement with the better part of Q2 2020 lost to...
I’m remodeling my house...and I needed extra cash...so I sold some of my beloved sports cards, instead of TSLA, to pay for the work.
HODL...I’m committed...
I paid for my marriage license and honeymoon with poker winnings. My wife hates it when I tell that story...not very romantic apparently...
...back to TSLA...buy with cash on hand and hold forever is still undefeated.
Also an article about hibernating tree snakes at the Germany Giga site causing some issues with timbering? A trivial item being used to try to slow the advance, if true...
This week...metaphorically speaking and harkening back about 30+ years...everyone is finally coming to the realization that Original Coke >>>>>>>>> New Coke.
Correct. My “first” shares are core shares with a very low cost basis (I first bought at $35 back in 2013). My “last” shares are buy the dip shares that have a much higher cost basis thus lower tax ramifications. This works for me given my most recent purchases having the highest cost basis...
FIFO can be adjusted to other sale arrangements. I’ve changed mine with my broker to LIFO (Last In First Out) for minimizing tax ramifications on trading shares.
