Tesla Software updates - Australia

I know because every time the silly software update “factory resets” the system I have to re-enter favourites on both wife’s and my profiles. Bloody annoying. They also didn’t come back from the cloud unlike some of the other settings (from my cloud-synced, email-based Tesla account).
I've had all my favourites disappear after an update too, but they definitely are stored in the cloud-synced account, because my favourites appeared in the Tesla service centre loaner vehicle. No idea how they get lost when an update goes wrong though.

Morning all, I just got this text from Tesla re: not being able to get the UMC firmware update via the Highland. Can anyone confirm?

We do not have a powerpoint available in our delivery centre to plug a UMC in unfortunately.
I have had confirmation from our service team that the Model 3 can now perform the firmware upgrade when you do this at home.

P.s I’m pretty sure they would have a PowerPoint somewhere in the delivery centre, unless all the vacuum cleaners, washes and computers etc have all been converted to type2

Terms and Conditions apply.
Terms and conditions are that you also have a previous gen model to do the update on, then fill your boots 👢 on the highland model.
