Enthusiasts on TMC
As diverse a group as can be
But we stand united
anti short-sighted
a better tomorrow we see

From Peru, whose lim’ricks all
Look’d like haiku. He

Said with a laugh “I
Cut them in half, the pay is
Much better for two.”

There was a Tesla from Silicon Valley,
that quietly sneaks down the alley,
you don't hear a sound,
but it covers lots of ground,
on its' way to the TMC rally.

Eyes filling with tears

Actually, I come from Sweden
But am much like Norwegians a heden
No Christians in sight
But this fact in spite
It feels like the Garden of Eden

which seems just right to me.
The decision was made,
to get the dealer paid,
so then I get the key!

That did, unfortunately for all, get me going. Here are three to start:

The R8 is solid – not shoddy
Teutonic straight through in its body
But gasoline engines?
(Hint: Fremont’s inventions).
We bid an Audi-eu to the Audi

When contemplating the MacLaren
F1 – off the line it is rarin’
To go – (and it’s quick!)
A slick sick hat trick
But to buy it?....with Fort Knox need a share in

And now that bright red Testarossy:
Seven hells! But those gears can be bossy!
Like a scene out of Dante
Il Cavallo Rampante…
Is it time to retire the hossy?

The last one was the best. Love the italian twist to it. Insipred me:

A petrol-EV sees its dawn
With a hydrogen tank as add-on
Engines galore!
In Hintern und Vor
Hail, the new Audi all-tron!

splendid. Really like this one (and Hintern und Vor is excellent)
Not to cavil, but
(1) in USA (though not Europe, I hear), "bimmer" is for autos; "beamer" for bikes
(2) try: "There's but one drawback://The battery pack!"

I think the thread title needs to be updated to include Limericks... otherwise most of these recent postings are off-topic and should be banished!

Tesla Poetry / Haiku

These two come in a pair:

Fuel cells may not be a pipe dream
A Mirai was heard with a proud beam:
said: "you must know that I care
'bout the qual'ty of air,
From the pipe in the back comes but steam!"


A Tesla heard this and she thought:
"He could blow, I better say naught
Water's just fine
But I prefer Franz' design
I don't even have an exhaust!"

I think the thread title needs to be updated to include Limericks... otherwise most of these recent postings are off-topic and should be banished!

There was a Limerick on Tesla Motors Club,
But the thread title was a flub.
A user asked the mods for a title fix,
or else the Limerick's we must nix.
Now the title is good and no reason to snub!

but haiku smoother, relax'd.
More like a tesla.

The limericks are so contorted,
like an ice car trying to get started.
I prefer a haiku,
how about you?
Or then again, maybe you're Irish!

(Unless NADA gets its way)
