The Survey needs to clearly distinguish between TACC, and AP.
Although the survey questions were very well written, this added level of specificity makes it better. Frankly, this is by far the best survey on this subject I have seen. For that matter it is one of the best on any subject. Proper questionnaire design is not really common ( I used to teach the subject) so I am really impressed when I see it done. This one should be taught as an example of how to discern new technology experiences without resorting to jargon or unduly complex questions. This refinement proves there is no substitute for really knowing the subject if one wants to makes questions simple. Occam's razor works with almost all topics after more than 700 years, doesn't it?You full comment is great. Very insightful. Just to quickly respond to one of the suggestions quoted above. On the TACC front, you're right. The focus of the survey is on Autopilot (TACC + Autosteer) not TACC alone but it's important to clarify that. I added questions about TACC usage and also created/added an image to clarify that we're mostly asking about #3 ...
I agree you already had some of my list. This is great thanks. I added some more options but of the ones you listed I believe are already covered. Here's how I would align them. Actual options are in bold:
Let me know if the above matches could be made better.
- Need to exit highway or turn at intersection
Need to take off ramp.- Lane change (manual) <-- new one added thanks to your suggestions
Need to change lanes in heavy traffic, so want to control my speed to seek a gap between cars in the next lane- Leading vehicle braking, moving slower, or stopped
A car pulls in front of me going slower than me. When the car is close, I don’t wait to see if AP will brake, I do it manually.- Autopilot drifts too close to other cars
Passing a large truck and I want to be on the left side of my lane to keep my distance. Tesla has stated it does this automatically, but many times it doesn’t.- Approaching construction zone <-- new one added thanks to your suggestions
I approach a construction zone.- Autopilot starts drifting out of the lane
My car gets too close to the edge of my lane.

That device is called an orange, a citrus fruit that a driver can eat before it goes rotten after a while
No, that is the conventional thinking. I never said this. If I found results that confirmed this, I wouldn't say the findings are exciting. The results we found is very interesting and counter-intuitive. Stay tuned for their release. I am passionate about saving lives and sometimes that may require learning how to step toward danger and build systems that successfully manage it, as opposed to running away from it. Successful human-machine collaboration is difficult, but I believe it can be done well.

Should those of us who completed the survey earlier take the survey again, since it has changed?

If the warnings were at the top of the screen, they would be much more visible.
