Seems to be a roll-back. Multiple sources in the German Tesla forum tff-forum.de reported that they had another "update" already being on navigation data 2020.32-12313 and then they found the data to be back on 2019.20-10482. Why they roll-back the update is up to speculation.

The details of 2019.40.50.1 are showing 6 AP2 cars but I doubt they indeed have AP2 hardware. Under those 6 cars there are 4 Model 3 vehicles, a "S Long Range" (which would be at least HW2.5 with that badge) and a S 100D (the only plausible in my view).

Sadly it's here to stay. The UN-ECE (United Nations Economics Comission for Europe) regulation 79 is limiting the lateral acceleration for (semi) autonomous cars driving faster than 10km/h to 3m/s^2. There are some other requirements in this regulation that allegedly will delay FSD features here...

Refund for what? EAP, FSD or the whole car? Since AP2.0 they promised a car "with all the hardware needed for full self-driving capability at a safety level substantially greater than that of a human driver".

I look at it this way, there are owners who paid for FSD and others only paid for EAP. I guess for Tesla only the FSD owners are problematic in terms of loosing money on. With the new upgrading rules EAP owners have to pay $2000 for FSD. For $2000 don‘t you think the retrofitting would be paid...

Our X has 50.6 and we still can't log into Spotify with the Tesla account from time to time, especially wile on LTE.

They changed mine in december. SeC told me it was one of the last until new revision comes out probably in summer 19... I never had the graphics glitches, neither in 48.12.1 nor with 50.6. but I already had to reset mcu 2 times because no more blinking sound and no nav directions but radio...

Well then take a look in the settings menu under "Auto Wipers" or "Navigate on Autopilot" to only mention two places where you actually can read "beta". I would say, the early access program is more an alpha program than a beta.

It‘s a long time without a new release for S/X. Is something big comming or do they for once wanna be sure to fix all current bugs without introducing new ones with the next release?

Anyone else thinks the rain detection and therefor auto-wipers have been improved in 48.12.1? Just drove in light rain where it always has been difficult for the NN to wipe sufficiently. In 48.12.1 it wipes much earlier, even on setting 1.

That's my guess too. Would be another HW2.5-only feature :(

As @CK_Stuggi said, emergency vehicles don‘t alter lights. The only ones doing that are buses and trams of public transportation arround here. They are prioritized but lights do the full cycle as described.

Do you have something more specific on that? When, how, with the 2018.48.1 version?

V9 has arrived for my X in the form of 2018.44. I didn't see anything obvious mentioned in the release notes that could explain the delay in CH and AT.

7 of 7 installations on teslafi are M3, so I guess .42.4 is M3 only. Still no signs of v9 in Switzerland.:(

How does AP behave in comparison to v8.1 in Switzerland? Did you had any dangerous situations you didn't expect of autopilot?

Another question arose. As of my knowledge HW2.0 cameras finally only have 2 channels, grey and red. How is the NN dealing with that?

In the past, the encrypted firmware update files were downloaded via HTTP, so there was a DNS lookup prior. I think it came from CDN servers like AWS or akamai in the past.

Do you need HD Maps to drive your car? No?! Me neither, what a surprise. Maybe that's Tesla's angle, they try to only use vision (maybe with a little help from radar and ultrasonic) like humans do. We will see if they succeed with that. I'm a little sceptic about that, but let's just wait and see.

I respect an objective and constructive criticisms of any system but what you produce is simply FUD. You're a Mobileye fan-boy forgetting that a lot of accidents and the majority of deaths were a result of an inattentive driver and Mobileye's AP 1 system too limited to (reliably) recognize...
