I could guide you through the process live and yes I can arrange the config to be changed but you will need a laptop and depending on the mcu in your model s you might need some extra connectors to connect to the mcu

open the area under the screen and see if you have an ethernet port

I dunno, after getting used to it tilted to the driver, flat just feels wrong.

That's exactly it. Flat is fine, but after you've swiveled, swiveling it back to center (I always do so my wife doesn't feel left out) is a giant wtf moment.
