Can lighter smaller wheels with sticky tires shave off up to half second 1/4 mi on an MYP?

Yes they can. Don't know if you will make 1/2 sec but you will gain for sure.
On my MYP with the uberturbine (Pirelli zero elect) the 0-62 mph is 0.3 sec slower than when on my forged 20" wheels(Hankook ion EVO) with 255 instate of 255/275 stock on the 21" uberturbines

my MYP stock 21” , no rollout was liked 3.8 ish

19” martian was liked 3.6 ish. (Much lighter rims)

Litespeed RS5RR's but sold them not to long ago as I went back to the oem uberturbines, making the car ready for selling it
