P85D showing as 85D

I'm looking at a car listed for sale across the country by a non-Tesla dealer as an 85D. Carfax also shows it as a 85D. On both the dash and touch screen the car says P85D. Anyone experience this before? I've read to trust what the car says it is on the screen. Is that 1000% bulletproof? Really don't want to somehow find out after purchase that is a 85D rather than a P85D. Thank you

The touchscreen is probably reliable, but verify the VIN to make sure it's the touchscreen from the car you're interested in. However, if the car is listed as an 85D and that turns out to be correct, you don't have any recourse. If it's priced like an 85D and you end up with a P85D, consider yourself lucky. :)

ask for a pic of LDU label to be completely sure, it should say 'sport' on it
also google VIN, if car was listed anywhere else, u'll have another proof n set of pics
under software screen > additional info, should say Induction Large for Rear drive unit
check what acceleration option buttons are there under Pedals&steering, P* will have sport and insane (or ludicrous)
not sure if all these can be faked but thats about all the places u can check
