Model S Rim Protection

Good afternoon. I am picking up my Model SLR with 21" Arachnid wheels on Monday. I have had issues with rim rash on past cars and I am looking for recommendations on which wheel protection product I should buy.

Best option is called driver mod, don't hit the curbs in the first place.

These work really good for minor curb hits. You can also replace the two-way tape on them. When you get new tires you can save the old rim protectors and just replace the two-way tape.

Your best bet is to learn how to drive. After 22 years of driving and hundreds of thousands of miles on many cars I've still not gotten curb rash. Which leads me to believe it's caused by bad drivers

I've been driving for over 60 years and trust me, it will happen in due time. Thank GOD I've been lucky with just a couple close ones.
