20" Model X Slipstream Wheels on Model S

you can go to tire rack find your tire and click the specs tab. Then compare each other manufacturers specs they all vary from tire to tire. For example, 245/40/20 potenza sport a has a tread width of 7.9" while a conti dws same size has 8.3"

    Daytime running lights

Don't believe so. Even Tesla's user manual for range mode while googling says 2012-2020 models. https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/2012_2020_models/en_cn/GUID-4AC32116-979A-4146-A935-F41F8551AFE6.html#RANGEMODE

    Daytime running lights

I thought someone said that the range mode feature was deprecated on newer cars so that shouldn't be relevant to 2024.

    2023 Model S is a disappointment.

AFAIK auto park only reverses into spots.

    2024.8.4 strange issue (possily bug?)

Just installed 2024.8.9. Glad that it's fixed. At least Tesla fixed it relatively quickly. Will be a little jaded to install any future updates.

Won't fix anything as posted above, wont hurt anything that I know of at this point either.

    2024.8.4 strange issue (possily bug?)

After charge gate I was hesitant to install new updates. Awhile back they restored some of the charge speed to the gimped cars and I started to install stuff again but this update is making me hesitant again. As you said, not much value add to legacy vehicles anymore.

    2023 Model S is a disappointment.

yet another feature that's fully capable of existing on legacy but they only allow it on refresh.

    2023 Model S is a disappointment.

I wish the s3xy buttons worked with suspension levels. having to deal with the UI when quickly wanting to raise suspension for dips/speedbumps is annoying especially now that the crappy UI design doesn't allow for pressing Very High, you have to drag it thru each level.

Yep can confirm, still unable to change ride height to low.

Installing 2024.8.7 now. Will report back tomorrow if suspension is back to normal.

Figured I'd post an update for a bug on 2024.8.4 for those interested if you should or shouldn't update. If you value your suspension settings avoid updating until bug is fixed. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/2024-8-4-strange-issue-possily-bug.323629/

    2024.8.4 strange issue (possily bug?)

From my understanding from other things I've read online is that the voice commands for "bug" just bookmark/timestamp the issue in the log but doesn't actually get sent anywhere. So I'm guessing this issue won't get fixed anytime soon unless they randomly find it in regression testing or something.

Should I upgrade to Plaid or keep my 2014 P85D w MCU2 and Ludicrous upgrade

The vision only system is attempting to simulate what the ultrasonic sensors were doing but I wouldn't trust them especially at this point. I believe without the data plan you're unable to use some features of sentry mode, navigation/live traffic features.

Should I upgrade to Plaid or keep my 2014 P85D w MCU2 and Ludicrous upgrade

It's really on you if you feel like spending the money for a new car. Do you need FSD? AFAIK HW4 still isn't fully functional. Do you care if you have no stalks? Do you want to pay $100/yr for your data plan that yours probably has grandfathered in. Do you want more phantom braking than you'd...

    2024.8.4 strange issue (possily bug?)

Having same issue thought I was losing my mind. Was going to post here with a video of same issue and the predictive title linked me right to this thread. 2024.8.4 in my P85D Model S. I even went into service mode to check if there was any faults or something with the suspension but nope. Now to...

    2023 Model S is a disappointment.

A lot of the things the OP mentioned are concerns of mine which keep me from wanting to upgrade to a newer model S/Tesla. It's sad that coming from cars 8-9 years ago we seem to have to compromise on upgrading which should be the opposite. I don't want to have to buy EAP when my AP1 could do...

20” Cyberstream Wheels on Model S

I'm guessing if you use the camber and toe arms with your spacer setup you'll def start rubbing in the rear if you go to their recommended camber specs. The wheels wont camber in anymore and will give you more poke. It might actually look better post alignment w/o the spacer.
  22. K

Something other than a Model S?

I'm sure that's also only temporary since highland 3 doesn't have them the refresh Y also wont.

2021 Refresh Tail Lamp and Charge Port Retrofit Project

To me that would be a deal breaker. Seems stupid they wouldn't make a tacky feature like the animations an option you could disable. Especially for higher end vehicles that don't want to look like the average civic owner. Looking like the the chopped up OEM from EVoffer are the only viable option.

20" Model X Slipstream Wheels on Model S

worth it is subjective on what you want to achieve. 19" probably is lighter more efficient. to me the 19" wheel is just looks too small for this large of a car. I prefer a 20" over something larger like a 21". I like having 2 sets of wheels since I have to deal with snow and mag chloride in the...

    Replacement for Model S/X?

personally I think they are due for a full up redesign over another 'refresh'. I agree that the look is timeless but the longer this car stays the way it is I can't imagine many people jumping from legacy S to refresh S to facelift refresh S + + + without a redesign before looking elsewhere...

    Good deal on ADV1 Wheels

I'd avoid flow "forged" wheels which are slightly fancier cast on this heavy of a vehicle and opt for actual forged wheels.

Headlight too low and cannot be adjusted further.

I don't see how you couldn't get the correct amount of adjustment using the appropriate headlight screw. I doubt they could physically be mounted & aimed to low to the point the adjustment couldn't be correctly aimed unless the lower headlight tabs/mounts possibly are broken or something that's...

    2 painful years with a Model S

I'd agree that while those all would be annoying for such a new car most of those items were likely fixed under warranty beside the windshield and the "20k ding".

Adding a hitch for a bike rack to a Model S

I have a removable one and I can't say I've really removed it since installation. I don't leave my bike rack on full time either, usually in summer it's on most the week but I typically remove it because of the annoying park assist unavailable nag when I have the bike rack folded up. It's more...

don't recall off the top of my head. I think just 15mm and 18mm. Helps to have a combo of wrench and sockets. I'm not quite sure what specific thing you're looking for since I'm not familiar with quadlock or wireless charging but check thingiverse. They have lot of 3D print files available there.
