@TechReferral, that would depend on what your trying to compare the wheel and tires with don't you think? Personally I have the same wheels with Firestone Indy 500's and I get ok range and the tires last around 30K miles on my car.

I would first try regular paint thinner. I shouldn't harm the PPF film. You can also try WD40

bumbazs, what model Tesla is this? Your post is in the Model S section and I've never seen those headlights before on a Model S.

My last set of tires cost me $1,093.11 installed and balanced. Walmart may carry them if you like their service. I run Firestone Indy 500's 245/40R-20.

WOW, I get around 20K on my tires and I too drive fast.

Usually in the automotive industry the driver's side is considered the left side of the car. If Tesla is any different I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm sure their still 2 way taped to the front bumper along with 2 small screws under the bumper.

@VTC32AMG, it appears that you installed this weather stripping only where the front door triangle windows closes against the front pillar. Is that right or did you use it elsewhere?

Is it possible to take some more pictures from a distance to show exactly where you added this extra foam weather stripping. A link to the foam would be great too.

What are preferences in your settings menu? Can you post a picture of your options for us to look at?

Try using regular paint thinner. It should dissolve the water base paint.

Have you thought about calling your insurance company and telling them the same thing that you just posted here? Often honesty is the best policy.

I would first try a hard reboot and then try reinstalling the latest software.

Never heard a back-up alarm on my car. Haven't heard any other Tesla make a sound when backing up either.

He can always try and see if the current owner will let him try.

I would see if you can try them first to make sure that they either fit or they don't fit. That's the best method.

Livewire, can you get into the settings menu and change your wheel/tire size? That will give a much better reset of the car. When done don't forget to go back and change it back.

Have any of you done a hard reboot yet? If not try doing that by changing your wheel/tire size and letting the car do the reboot. Don't forget to change your wheel/tire size back when your done.

Sounds like a shorted wire in the stalk. I would contact Tesla and ask them.

Do you have the recirculation button turned on? If not try turning it on and see if the air comes out the bottom.

Very good looking car. I looked at them when they 1st came out. I just didn't like the fact that the car sits so low which makes it harder to get in and out of the car. Remember that soon you will be able to charge at the Tesla charging locations.

What battery did they replace that cost you $600? A 12 volt battery is no where near that price.

EVolVEr, have you tried a hard reboot by changing your tire/wheel size in your control panel. If not then I suggest you do that but don't forget to go back and change your tire/wheel size back to what you have on your car.

LonelyMS, you should be able to remove the bumper at re-glue the sensor back on to the inside of the bumper.

@MidBaz. Like I said I've used the ones I posted and have even been able to remove them when new tires are required by just replacing the 2 sided tape. Your choice, I just wanted to give you a option.
