Think it was random afternoon time for me. Hang in there, it’s coming. For those who received their VIN…….what time did it drop for you. Apologies if this is pedantic but every day that goes by, I get antsier.

Thanks for the reply. I leave abroad for work on 14 Jun for 3 months so hoping to take delivery and tie up a “loose end”.Think it was random afternoon time for me. Hang in there, it’s coming.
Not officially. Probably just build variationTook delivery of my MSP today with Sport Seats. Luckily the car seems to have no build flaws. I did notice the car seems to be notably quieter than the 2022 MSLR refresh that it replaced. Have there been updates to the suspension/sound dampening in the last couple years?
Could be tire differences between the MSP and MSLR, not to mention possible differences in diameters chosen (19/21").Not officially. Probably just build variation
All new inventory S will be HW4. If it's a 2023, if it has no USS (ultrasonic sensors) on the bumpers etc, it's HW4, I believe. How to know if an inventory Model S has HW3 or HW4 ?
Thank you!!
Thank you. That's what I thought. I found an inventory tracker website (Tesla Inventory List - Find your next car) and it lists all available Model S as HW3.All new inventory S will be HW4. If it's a 2023, if it has no USS (ultrasonic sensors) on the bumpers etc, it's HW4, I believe.
I wonder whether they will make some easy revisions to stimulate sales - they could do basic simple body changes, bring back things people wanted. I'm not whining for stalks again (but I'd take them). Some minor body changes like regular car makers do to "update the look"? Bring back am radio? Update hardware versions, add stupid center front camera. I tend to go for cheap & easy extensions, Tesla wants to go for expensive track mode things I'd never buy. Add towing in the US? Add a regular 120v outlet. add 240v outlet.Interestingly, this has now been the longest time between Model S revisions
It has been almost 16 months since the last revision (SOP16)
Don't hold your breath.Tesla does not work that way.- they could do basic simple body changes, bring back things people wanted.
You and me both. I switched to cash payment awhile ago, and will probably just forego trading in, as I can do better locally even figuring in the trade-in tax credit.I feel like I’m the only one not getting a delivery date. I don’t even have a vin. I wonder if Tesla is playing some **** **** games because I have a trade and they are giving me back $8200. Wonder if they figure, if they wait longer, they’ll give me less on the trade. Wouldn’t put it past them.
It’s definitely not just you. I am paying cash with no trade and am sitting in the same boat.I feel like I’m the only one not getting a delivery date. I don’t even have a vin. Harder things, can charge for them: port v2g from CT to the S. Officially use car as another home power storage device.
If I’m not mistaken that tow hitch was really meant for a bike rack.Towing is an interesting one. The parts catalog has a tow hitch for NA listed, and the service manual has retrofit instructions and includes instructions specifically for NA.
I wonder if you can request to get a hitch installed form the service center.
