VIN just hit right now. 3/7 order date. 5/6-5/13 EDD. MSP, black on black, 21’s, yoke. Looks like the MSP printing press is definitely full steam ahead as of this week!

It’s definitely noticeable to most people, especially over bumps. Also range and noise can be significantly different. However, I personally love the look of the 21s on the car so I just went with the arachnids. I’ll be adding wheel spacers ASAP to mitigate inner tire wear problem, though.

Yep makes sense, in particular, the Plaids are really due. Been ages. At least we got the sports seats included and a price drop. Was hoping for some sign of life for the bumper camera but that has gone the way of Bigfoot. 😂

That’s a good point. I don’t have any transfers, so I actually also dropped EAP from my order so I could just subscribe for $99. Hopefully that price sticks around for a while as right now it made no sense for me to pay $6k or $12k upfront.

And just like that, got an email right now confirming changes for my MSP that I didn't make - they updated the order to the sports seats automatically and my EDD range now changed from 4/19-5/24 ---> 4/25-5/16. So, like a lot of folks have experienced in the past, the EDD time window has shrunk...

Relatable. Also, the main reason I ordered MSP is because I could, and also so I wouldn't have to be playing "what if" games in my mind after the fact. I don't get enough sleep as it is at night ...

It's because it's a Long Range and not Plaid. Plenty of LRs have been delivered in the past several weeks as Fremont was making them. Fremont factory hasn't been cranking out Plaids at all lately = no VINs. It is unknown when they will flip the switch on those - hopefully soon.

They are holding up production until the seat changes and other changes (potentially) are ready. They might've started already, but almost no one has taken delivery of a Plaid recently (unless it was an inventory car). Just check the delivery thread and you'll see. For example, I ordered on...

No, try even rubbing alcohol or an alcohol based cleaner. No lubricants or anything corrosive. If your car isn’t even that dirty in those parts, you can just use some water and scrub the areas down well. Just make sure it’s completely dried before applying the adhesive and there isn’t a lot of...

Easy. Buy 3M trim adhesive for auto. It’s black sticky substance. Find a good surface cleaner to prep the surface. Apply adhesive to the trim as well as to the car. Adhere and set. It will be perfect.

This release / news turned out to be FALSE. Early March builds were already delivered to many without the new features. We're going to find out soon if the mid-March builds have it.
