SR+ switched to LFP battery, 0-60 slowed from 5.3 to 5.8 second from extra weight, but much longer lifespan)

In the US, some late 2021 SR+ came with a ~54kWh LFP battery, but most 2021 SR+ came with a ~54kWh NCA battery.

2022 SR+ was renamed RWD, and came with a ~60kWh LFP battery.

I have a 2020M3 long range. I picked it up from Tesla on 9/26/20. I think it's seats are incredibly comfortable so I guess the change in seats was prior to that date.

the old battery was definetly bigger than 75kwh. 78.8kwh is usually quoted here.

There were periods of time later when Model 3 cars came with either Global (matrix) or Premium headlights. Some US posters here made a big deal about the difference based on the theoretical possibility of selective high beam control by software (i.e. where the high beams were on except for specific directions where others were detected), but Tesla never promised or delivered such capability in the US. With ordinary high/low beam control, both types of headlights were rated "good" in IIHS testing, though the Global (matrix) headlights had better range to the sides but less straight ahead.

Global (matrix) headlights for the US first started appearing in January 2021 builds.

There was an earlier type of headlight prior to July 2018 that was rated "acceptable" by the IIHS.

I think that's correct. My ex-2021 LR built in Dec '20, had the double-pane windows and heat pump, but old headlights.
