- Fun to drive. Cant overstate this. This car is a delight to drive.
- Acceleration - amazing.
- Comfort, feel, interior/exterior styling I still enjoy and like
- Technology. I do like the tech overall
- I listed what I like before I jump into the non likes (I dont want to be all negative about a car I actually love).
- Quietness. Now I will say I wish it were quieter. But it is quieter than the test drive model at my local store. It was my one concern. But, I will say it is fairly quiet. I think the dual pane front windows helped improve.
- Steering wheel. For whatever reason, I have easily scratched the wheel as I slide into the seat. I am more careful now. And I did repair with a kit. It is just a bit disappointing. I have never had this issue with cars in the past.
- Iphone interface. I wish I could pay to have apple play on the car. Admittedly, the Tesla interface is nice. But I would love Waze and google maps; along with a mirror image of my phone on the screen.
- Data subscription. I have it free for a year. But paying to have nav month to month is BS. Especially, when you have a smart phone. Hoping for a long term resolution for this.
- Windshield wipers. One of my biggest gripes. The lack of adjustment is terrible. IMO, the wipers wipe too quickly in automode. And auto is on if you use AP. And I think knob control for wipers would be nice.
- Autopilot. AP needs improvement. The phantom braking has improved. But I wish Tesla would have a dumb cruise control option. Especially, while they improve AP (which has improved over the 5 months I have owned the car).
- Floor mats are flimsy. Driver mat doesnt stay in place very well.
- Frunk. Closing this is not hard. But not exactly easy either. Its odd. Luckily I barely use it.
- Rear view mirror seems cheap and could be bigger and more stylish
- Carwash mode is very hard to get free roll working. I have to brake and hit free roll multiple times to get it to work. I make it work but it is frustrating
- Range. The range is very misleading. I suspected this would be the case but I am surprised how much it is overstated. I understand weather, hills, curves, number of passengers etc all have an affect on mileage. However, on an 80 degree day, flat with only the driver. An 80% charged car stating 290ish miles of range will only yield about 200 miles in reality, in my experience. This is driving 5-10 over speed limit. I suspect if you drive the speed limit and dont accelerate then you may get 250 miles of range on 80%.
