Mirror auto-tilt position adjustment

I have a new 2024 built MYLR. I have auto-tilt turned on for my mirrors, so when reversing/parallel-parking, I can see the 20" induction wheels and not curb them. Unfortunately the default factory auto-tilt position, does not show me the wheels. I can adjust the mirrors, but the setting does not get saved to my profile. It just reverts back to the factory default next time I go into reverse. I see some threads from 2023 talking about this with no resolution. Is this still an issue or am I missing something?

That is not a feature. There is no saved custom tilt position.

i thought auto tilt was cool when my wife got her M3 last year. but when i got my MYLR last month, i found i didn't like it. i use these quarter circle blind spot mirrors, pointing out and down. great for reverse and parallel parking. i've used them on all my previous cars. makes for quick lane changes too.

It's crazy that all new cars don't have savable auto tilt positions. I had that on a 2003... Should be so basic, but for whatever reason it isn't.
