Model X (others) backup tilted mirrors custom position saving!

So, since day 1 of owning my X Refresh I went to adjust the mirrors, including the backup "tilted" position by placing the car in Reverse then adjusting the backup positions of the R&L mirrors and saving them. Do my dismay, the positions never saved! I would really like for Tesla to simply enable the backup positions to be saved so I can actually see where I WANT and not some random pre-set tilted position. Being able to save the backup mirror position would have saved me many curb rashes already!

I see the same, brand new June build 2023 Model x plaid running 2023.32.4 and mirror reverse positions will not save. User manual clearly lists that this works.

Strange thing is after driving a LOANER Model S, THAT car's mirrors DID SAVE the back up mirror position! So, its something to do, perhaps with just the model X for some strange reason!
