Iemand toevallig in de buurt van Veleso, Como Italië? Staat een Tesla rijder met lege accu en een niet werkende UMC.
Hey guys, looking for some advice on this holiday charging problem. Hope you can help out. Disclaimer: I suck at holiday planning and should have thought of this before we left
The problem is as follows: we've driven from Amsterdam to Veleso (Italy near lake como). Before leaving, I confirmed with the hotel that the car could be charged there. My plan was to have 20kms left when we would arrive, but didn't know it was at about 1000m elevation. Managed to get there with 0kms left, so all seemed good. However: apparently the Dutch socket charger doesn't work here (even with adapter). Contacted Tesla service and they said we need an Italian adapter from Tesla to charge. Only way to get this is to pick it up in Milan on Monday. Which is like a six hour ride back&forth by public transport. Also means we're gonna miss our planned itinerary. Thought of towing, but closest supercharger is 90 kms away, so it'll cost a couple of hundred euros. Also going to a public charging spot is not possible as we don't have a card for this.
Our current plan is now waiting till Monday, but it would be great if anyone has a better idea. You will be rewarded by us by sending you our eternal love and good vibes your way
