Just saw delivery estimate go from Nov to Jan!

AUUUGGGHH. This wait is terrible. Went into production 11/10 and STILL in production. Just going through the days, waiting for someone to tell me to head to the Fremont Factory to pick up my beautiful new car. There's isn't an estimated delivery date on my My Tesla page, nor has there ever been an estimated date range. Our delivery specialist Hannah has been vague ("...maybe first or second week of Dec. I'll reach out as soon as I can tentatively schedule you.") and we haven't heard from her in 10 days. :cursing: :crying:

Chelley, It's interesting to see Vin #s on the east coast with higher numbers already at a Tesla store near me. I saw three 116xxx and four 115xxx and also five 114xxx. I think they are inventory vehicles. I stopped by there for a few minutes yesterday to see what they have available on their lot. Maybe they ran some higher inventory cars through to get them staged for end of year selling ahead of customers cars.

Yeah, it's killing me.

ndhaon91, what's your DS telling you? Is he/she keeping you in the loop at all? I noticed on another thread that you've been waiting nearly 60 days!

I think he's keeping me in the loop to the best of his knowledge, but there hasn't been much contact. I think I'm going to drop him another line. I'm anxious, but not upset. Mostly I'm just curious why people who ordered literally three weeks after me already have their cars in transit. I'm sure there is much more that goes into the logistics of all this than we realize, so it's not like I'm taking it personally. I'd be fine if they just said, "yeah, it makes more sense for us to get all the cars to a certain geographical region before working on anything headed toward Denver."

Anyway, no updates. Still says in production with delivery late nov - dec.

My VIN is 118xxx and my expected delivery is between 12/17-12/31. Originally it showed possible delivery in January. Order confirmed on 11/23. I was shocked how fast this is moving along, but I realize the date can change. There must be a huge push on getting delivery numbers before end of year.

Great to hear and when it does deliver in that time frame we can all breathe a sigh or relief that cars are being delivered to their anxious owners :)

Vigile! I've been lurking around this thread for a while because we had similar order dates and specs (I'm picking mine up this Saturday - could have been Thursday but my schedule won't allow it!). By now you should have taken delivery of your car, so hers the obligatory THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICS!

It went well! The person doing the delivery was a newer (not the DS I had been working with the whole time, though he was there to oversee) and I clearly knew as much or more about the car than she did. It's pretty typical when I buy a car - I research the hell out of it. Still, they walked through everything, every employee came by to say congrats and shake hands, etc. It was a fantastic feeling!!

I've requested postponed delivery to earliest date in 2016, which I was told will be mid January. This morning I saw change from "January, 2016" to "February, 2016 - Early March, 2016". Which is 45 extra days!!!

I was very angry just 10 minutes ago, but now, considering Speculate: what will be included in the next major revamp of the Model S? and 2016 VIN, maybe it's not such a big deal.....

So after few days of that post it has gone back to January, but today it has changed to "Februry - Early March" again...
