Musk notes had a few quality issues with the cars, but we've addressed vast majority of issues in cars being produced. Getting better at diagnosing what's wrong. With regard to drive unit, it's actually another part of the car.

With one case it was vibration, which was due to cable detaching itself and touching the drive unit assembly and vibration to go towards rest of the car. If the cable moved a bit, the vibration would go away. But if cable vibrated down, the vibration came back. The cable problem is solved by a $3 cable tie.

There are a few problems that will need to be serviced longer. One is differential, which doesn't require drive train replacement, but tech needs to put in a shim, which is like 50 cents. I assume there will be a number of drive trains that need to be replaced

$3 cable tie... 50cents shim.... slim gespeeld, die cable tie en shim zijn vast veel duurder als de diagnose, het reparatiewerk en het verloren klantvertrouwen meegenomen wordt in de prijs.
