Images - please insert at the cursor rather than the beginning

When posting, I prefer to post in the order that I compose (and read) -- namely top to bottom.

As such, my usage pattern is:
1. Create thread/post
2. Type some words
3. Add image
4. Type some more words.
5. (Sometimes) Go to step 3.

The current behavior of TMC is that after step 3 I have to manually reposition the image from the beginning of the post to the position I was at after step 2 or 4.

This is a deparature from the behavior before the forum refresh and is an annoying waste of time.

I'm sorry, I'm not clear what exactly the issue is. It does currently insert where the cursor is giving you control over where you image goes.

@danny, I think OP points at the behaviour of the 'Upload an Image/File' function.

I understand, but I am still not clear as to the specific issue with that behavior.

The image is always inserted at the very first position of the message, when not added as a thumbnail.

Thanks for showing how this works at your end.
On my end (Safari/iOS 10.2 on iPad Pro) the pop-up for file selection makes the cursor 'reset' to the first position on the first line.
E.g. inserting the same image a second time with the 'Full image' button works as expected.
