How many posts before I can add a signature?

I think mine showed up around 5 or 6. It also allows you to edit articles. Like the battery information article/tracker.

But if all you do is post about being able to get a signature... where will people get to see the signature?
Much better to just contribute to the conversations, the rest will come by itself

I'm a new member of the forum with few posts. I have gone to Settings > My Settings... I see NO Signature option. What's the needed magic?

I think it's somewhere between 6 and 8 or something.
Just participate in the threads on Sig #1 having been delivered and Sig #2 going to be delivered tomorrow.
One "congrats" post, each, and you should be there

Okay, I feel like a moron. I don't see the settings menu at all. The closest things I could find was this menu:

I tried going into the "Personal Details" section and adding it in the "About You" but that didn't work.

I'm really hoping this is a Chrome issue and not user error.

Okay, I guess I wasn't crazy. Maybe you just need 5 or 6 posts to get the signature line too. I looked again today and now I see the signature that wasn't there before.

Maybe it's a combination of time and posts... Or maybe it's based on a random number generator. Would be nice if it was documented.
