Simple answer, set it in the Autopilot screen.

Well all I want is cruise control when I pull stock once. If I pull stock twice I want full self driving. Now when I pull stock once it is trying to drive for me. Am I missing something. Tried changing that setting with no help.

With "FSD", you can't do that anymore. The work around is to have a separate profile with FSD disabled. But you can't switch between the modes with just the stalk.

Ok 2 profiles did mot think of that. BUT why screw up something that works well ???? Sorry I did not see the thread, it STILL PISSES ME OFF they screwed it up...

Since the AutoPilot is now under scrutiny again by the Feds, I think Tesla knew it was deficient, so they made it harder for people to use on those cars that have FSD -- they want you to use their safer and more developed product.
