They've replaced it as an app, according to sources. Here's a leaked photo of the new thermometer.
...but at least it's in the modern "flat" design
You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

And the color turns blue at 35 deg F for USA, 2 deg C for Canada, to minimize the driver staring at the thermometer. :wink:They've replaced it as an app, according to sources. Here's a leaked photo of the new thermometer.

There's a very good reason all BMWs since at least 2000 have a clear "Black Ice" warning alert at 37F. Model S has no such warning or concern... Obviously "Designed in California"

The temp output on the 17" display is gone in 7 beta. Reference the OP.
I actually improved my design some more if you revisit my post :smile:There is also a periodic nag to ensure that the driver is alert and aware of the temperature at all times.
This isn't a version 7 specific thing, but I wish Tesla would return the suspension setting to whatever I've selected after the car adjusts it for some reason.
For example, I like driving around town with the suspension set to "low". Occasionally I hop on a freeway for a couple of miles. When I exit, the suspension is in "standard". I have to manually set it to "low".
I don't remember if it does this after automatic raising for parking lot ramps, but I think it did.
Its annoying.
Perhaps the solution is to allow us to assign a normal setting for the suspension. I would choose "low" as the default.

Can't you just set the speed-setting for LOW to something slow? (Or is there a 55mph lower limit, can't remember...)
Yeah, as a pre-AP I'm not overjoyed about the prospect of having a toy car stare at me all the time. Especially when it replaces useful info.
I think there is way too much information presented in that display.
They should remove the ticks on the right, and all but one number on the left, since no other outside temperature is relevant while driving.
Something like this:

The next question..
What on the 7.0 IC is superfluous for the non AP cars ?
A large picture of a CAR in the center portion springs to mind.. [emoji14]
I wonder if there's an even smaller toy car on the dash of that toy car...
You must be new here. Things that are only two months late are considered "super early" in Tesla time. When in November '13 Elon said that energy aware navigation would come out in a "couple of months" he really meant February '15...We're coming up on 2 months since Elon Musk tweeted autopilot was "almost ready".. This is getting ridiculous
