Extended Wheel Studs replacement on Plaid

Looking to get 10mm spacers installed and I'll be needing extended studs.

Does anyone have a DIY for this?

MPP aftermarket studs are great.

I replaced mine all round with a couple of ball joint removal tools (otc tools or harbor freight has a c clamp kit)

remove the screws attaching the rotor dust shield to get the replacement studs in place before you press them in with the c clamp

did you ever end up doing this? out of curiosity, could one simply buy longer wheel bolts? this won't be a track car for me, so ease of R+R isn't as important.

I used 2" long nuts I got on eBay

no need to remove the hubs or the calipers?

need remove all that, hub and axle nut need to push back in order slide new longer stud in.

Not the hub, but the calipers yes. Just hang them on the upper control arm

that doesnt seem too bad, so its just a matter of removing the calipers to free the rotors up from the hub? sorry cant find a diy for the refresh s

Correct. Also remove the screws on the dust shield because the longer studs can only be positioned from a notch on the top of the hub

thank you sir, im gonna give it a shot. curious why you are running extended studs? i want to be able to run spacers smaller than 15mm.

Yes spacers, and visible degradation on the oem studs.. the oem studs are “soft”
