The SCs network look exactly the same as here:

So I think it's real.

I don't think that the circles indicate the SCs. For instance I see a circle in Rome and according to the Tesla criteria SCs should be located on highways far from cities.

I saw that too. At the moment, we can only make assumptions...

I think that we just have to wait to know the SCs locations. Most important thing is that within 2014 Europe will have a good coverage of SCs. To be improved of course in the following years.

Actually I can understand the woman speaking in the above linked video because yesterday I saw first time the Model S for real. Lovely.

I spoke to a Tesla employee who told me that within 2015 Italy should have full coverage of SCs.

Does anyone know of any of the german promised SC's going under construction already? Would be nice to have a Supercharger sticky thread for EU as well now that the buildout is starting here. So far we have the six norwegian ones.

Looks like unfinished superchargers to me. Metal construction looks identical to what we've seen in Norway.

It can take some weeks for the SC to be finished IMO.

As of today, the supercharger in Oosterhout (NL) is operational. First (regular) supercharger in Europe?

Brits: First super chargers on the continent, indeed.
Norwegians: Not the first in Europe. These were ours. But the first in the European Union.
Netherlandians: Cheerio, yes, yes, yes!!!
Germans: Damn. So close. But we will beat them in Fußball!
