Does navigation take you right to it?

If it is like other obscure shopping mall Superchargers, the best method for the end game is to zoom in all the way on the nav screen in Sat mode. With that setup, it's pretty easy to navigate the parking lot, etc, that are not in the street database. I have found that the lat/long positioning info to be very precise for Supercharger locations.

Very true, but in this case I think the mall is very new. Can someone verify is the Google satellite photos are up-to-date enough?

I charged at the Barrie SC this morning. The electrons flowed freely. Good thing it was there and operational because at the -17C temperature and head wind on the 400 I got a 40% reduction in rated range.
In the morning I had 50% charge left and it was charging at 269 km/h, 143A, 375V.
In the evening I had 18% charge left and it was charging at 440 km/h, 240A, 395V

This section of mall is at least 6 years old....its fine on the maps and the location was accurate.
Tx. Won't have to hunt for it after all :) And an update: The MEC stores have declined to install HPWC's - citing substantial infrastructure additions/changes not necessarily in their interest and/or in competition with other charge-point chargers. If a number of MS owners were also MEC members, a little letter might help, if that is something desirable. I know Ottawa could really use something. Antoine Mountain in Mattawa (Antoine Mountain) is planning to add a HPWC in the Spring. Still looking for good destination partners for North Bay.

That's disappointing about MEC, but not unexpected. Frankly I don't need charging in Ottawa; visitors do. MEC is probably not the biggest visitor destination. They need to be at hotels.

You are all still welcome to drop by our office. There's a Tim Horton's and a Chinese restaurant within walking distance.

Tried out the Kingston temporary SC last night on the way to visit my brother!

Some snow and ice, but definitely not a place that would be ICE'd ;-) Wasn't too hard to find though, saw the red glow of the supercharger directly ahead of me as soon as I turned onto the road leading to the outlet mall.

Charged at 115kW, 360V/319A. One of the fastest charges I've ever had.

I'm pleased to see how much progress has been made in Canada lately. Very nice to know we can now travel Toronto to Ottawa or even Montreal without any issues.

I just can't understand why Buffalo shows "permitted" on Supercharge.info, and it has been that way forever now (it seems), and no construction even started? This would be such a great charger to have for spring break road trips to the south, or anywhere across the border really.

Any bets on what the delay is in Buffalo?

See Supercharger - Utica, NY - Page 3

Utica is also in the "permitted" category. In fact, the permit is "issued" which usually means the work has started or is starting soon. Utica will enable a Kingston to Albany Supercharger route, perhaps the first causeway off of the East Canadian Island.

Not to slam buffalo but they should really clear up the red tape on any type of infrastructure investment. There's a lot of land next to major traffic arteries that could use some economic activity that a supercharger site would bring. I think a stall or 2 extra would be a good idea too as this would be the last stop before Canada for a lot of American travellers who maybe heading to the casinos or Toronto. I think it would be attractive for many of them to charge one last time on their home turf before heading over to Canadaland.

The latest I've seen (Jan 26 email from Tesla) is: "Our site in Utica is nearly done and we hope to open this location in the coming weeks." But I haven't seen anyone in the area confirm the location or construction status.

Utica is key - you can get from Kingston, Cornwall or even Ottawa to Utica on a charge to connect to Albany and the whole network beyond that.

Wow, Utica will be very handy indeed. It will save a lot of extra distance on US trips, because without it you have to go a good distance out of your way to Kingston. No problem driving direct Ottawa to Utica.

I have a trip coming up in April, so I really hope it's up and running by then. (Not had much luck with that, of course...) Assuming it is up and running, I will drive Ottawa to Utica, Utica to Albany, and Albany to Suffern.

The only missing element is destination charging. I may have to drive 28 km past my destination to get recharged at the Paramus, NY Supercharger.

Except for the fact we have to pay those awful tolls down there which kind of ruins the fun somewhat.
I think the best way down south is through Windsor, Detroit ,Toledo, Harrisburg SC. No tolls!
I asked one of the attendants last year while passing through Washington about upgrading to camera tolls like the 407 and she said it would put a lot of people out of work!

Sure, if I want to double the distance I can go via Windsor!

The tolls are just a nuisance. It doesn't amount to a lot of money.

I'm hoping your curse will be broken this time, Doug. I'm driving to Florida on Feb 27, so I really hope Utica will be open by then. If it isn't, the options to get to Albany are limited: Kingston and then the Best Western in Syracuse (single 72A J1772) or Cornwall and then the Best Western in Lake Placid (not yet installed, but planning for 2 Tesla HPWCs with unknown capacity plus a 48A J1772) or even longer waits at a variety of 30A charging stations.

I'm still optimistic, since in Tesla's email when they said they hope to open Utica "in the coming weeks," they also said "We are doing everything we can to open Syracuse around the end of February but we are unable to make any guarantees." So it sounds like they at least are hoping and planning to open Utica before Syracuse and before the end of February. We'll see if this is "real soon" or "Tesla soon" this time.
