Executive Rear Seating _ anyone taken delivery yet?

You realize of course that these seats do not fold down. You're stuck with having a Tesla sedan only.

    It's Cold

I too, am getting tired of this cold weather. This isn't living, it is mere "existing"! Time to move to Vancouver!

Kingston has been a disaster from the get go. No doubt about that. If and when the regular SC's get operational it will be nothing short of a miracle!

    New 60 or Used 85?

Get a used 85! Adaptive Cruise Control and Autopilot are nice, but not really necessary. We've been driving for years without them and all of a sudden they are must haves? I don't think so. Plus, you become lazy depending on them. Keep your attention to driving and you are better off. Also, the...

    Supercharger - Drummondville, QC

Yes, provided the owner has enough sense to return to his car promptly as opposed to eating a big meal at Baton Rouge around the corner. The car might be charged in half an hour but the owner might not be back for an hour and a half.

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

i did the trip last week. Took the 401 to Kingston and charged to the max but you have to watch your speed in cold weather as I didn't have much range left and I went 108 km/hr. I believe I had 54 km left. Then took the 401 to the 416 and stayed at the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata which has two...

These guys are penny pinching. It doesn't cost anything like $15.00 for a charge. Who are they kidding? Tesla should be made aware of outlets trying to capitalize on the EV trend.

    Supercharger - Drummondville, QC

Unfortunately, I don't think Quebec is a priority with Tesla! Only having two SC stations at the Montreal Service Centre to me sends a red flag out! All other Service Centre SC locations have at least 6 to 8 units as far as I know.

I see the BW Butler in Niagara On the Lake has a Tesla HPWC now for guests. It is, however, dialled down to only 15A. Why bother! My guess is they don;t realize that it can be cranked up. Perhaps I'll call them now. - - - Updated - - - I just called the Colonel Butler BW now and the manager...

85kw motor for sale - No Longer Available

First of all, how did you ever get it removed? Tesla will NOT do this. What happened to your car? Anyone buying it in hopes of re installing it into another Tesla will not be able to have Tesla install it. They won't under any circumstances. If you do it yourself, it will void the warranty. Not...

We really need a SC in Belleville, On. It is the launching pad to areas north such as Tweed and more importantly, Hwy 7 to Ottawa. Hwy 7 is a great short cut to Ottawa from Toronto and it is also a lot more scenic. Taking the 401 from Toronto to Belleville charging up at the SC there and then...

Need cold weather advice for windows

I can't be bothered! I paid a lot of money for my car and should not have to do these extra steps to open the door. If this is a design flaw, which it sounds like it is, then Tesla should fix it! - - - Updated - - - Again, we shouldn't have to do this. A $100,000 car should not have these...

Windows not closing properly in the cold weather!

My car last night had an issue with the rear drivers side window not closing right and it clearly did not want to open in the cold. It complained. When I closed it, it didn't close flush with the body of the car. I just hope it reverts back when its warmer. Anyone else have this issue in the...

Sorry, I had range mode on and I fully charged when leaving TORONTO. I agree tbat unless tbe hotel hpwc is set for 80 amps, you might as well go to a BW and charge there and save a ton of money on the hotel bill as the BROOKSTREET in KANATA is expensive. Heading to Kingston now from OTTAWA.

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

The Kingston SC has been damaged! Check the upper right of one of the photos and a closeup from the other. They still work, of course, and it looks superficial, but I don't know if it was a snowplow or what that did it. i managed to drive in -22 weather the other day from the Toronto SC to...

Wooden center console - No Longer Available

Looks nice but I'm afraid the seller got caught up in the Tesla console hype as far as pricing goes. The consoles, whether from Tesla or others, should be priced no more than $150.00 . IMHO.

Should Tesla have kept the '+' moniker for the P85D?

Some service centres have the emblems and eBay will have them.

The solution then, provided the car senses your weight in the drivers seat, is to switch over to the passenger seat while in cruise control. LOL!

Invited to Tesla's All-Wheel Drive Insanity Tour

Upon reflection of the event and trying out the new models, I am somewhat overwhelmed and sad that my 2013 Model S doesn't have any of these new features and no doubt won't. I just wished Tesla installed the Auto pilot a year ago. They had the technology. Can't justify taking a hit of 30 Grand...

Just hope its not the same type of debacle as we witnessed in Kingston and even that situation is not resolved. Totally unacceptable! Having 2 units at the back of the building as temporary is better than nothing, but the 6 units still un powered should have been operational last summer.

Invited to Tesla's All-Wheel Drive Insanity Tour

Had my session this morning. A lot of fun. Drove thru the snow like there was no tomorrow. No hesitation at all. You simply cannot get stuck! Just for fun, I'm wondering who mght already be thinking of trading in his P85D for the "TRIPLE DRIVE" P85T model next year! The car will be 6 wheels essentialy.

Do the heated wiper blades do anything?

Sounds like the Cold weather package is a waste of money. Glad I didn't get it. As for the rear seat heaters, it comes down to who really needs them! Rear passengers really wouldn't even know about them so they wouldn't miss them. The car is simply the best in the market but there are some...

    Southern Ontario Tesla Owner's Club

I think we should organize a rally to the Detroit Auto show next year for two reasons. First, the Comber SC will be finished, and secondly, will no doubt be the launch of the Model X. It will be a piece of cake (carrot) getting there an back and plenty of accommodation in Windsor if Detroit is...

  37. S

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Yes, absolutely! - - - Updated - - - The report wasn't factual though. It sounded like it takes an hour to get 60 km of range even though she said other EV's take that long. It was rather nebulous to the viewer on how long it takes to fill up a Tesla. Also, she said they start at about...

Major unfair changes at Pearson Airport for EV charging!

You're right! In actuality, we don't really need fast chargers at the airport anyway as 115V plugs would be perfect as most times we travel for at least a few days and 5 km/hr charge would do the job nicely.
  39. S

Major unfair changes at Pearson Airport for EV charging!

Looks like it was good while it lasted. Until recently, I was able to pull my Model S into terminal One Valet /EV station and charge while I took a flight and was charged the usual $28.00 a day including free charging. It was also convenient to be able to park right next to the entrance into...

    Eastern Canada Superchargers

Yes indeed. Thank you. Interesting what you were saying about the other mall across the street that was supposed to originally host the SC'ers. The fact that mall got delayed and Tesla was forced to move it across the street could be one of the reasons for the delay. Happy motoring! . . - - -...

Drove from Toronto to Montreal yesterday in the cold. Topped off at the Toronto SC and made it to Kingston with 18 km range left travelling 110 most of the way Normal heating. Quarter Window cold air and draft solved!

Many of us have complained about the draft of cold air emanating from the quarter window in the front, including myself. I just discovered how to fix it. It's really quite simple. Just turn on the blue forward defrost and it goes away like magic! No more cold air and no more draft. Amazing!

Solution for the quarter window draft of cold air!

I've solved it. Lots of owners are complaining of really cold air emanating from the driver's quarter window in the front with a strong draft. I noticed it too. The solution is very simple. Put the front blue defroster on and it goes away. Simple as that. No more cold air, no more draft. How...
