Charging Port Manual Release

I have a 2023 3. I understand that on the left inside of of the trunk there is supposed to be an opening that you can access is your charger is stuck in the charging port but I can’t find it. Can someone tell me where to look?

How did your charger get stuck in the port? Are you sure the car is unlocked?

My trunk doesn't look as clean as the video that LoudMusic posted. I have a normal trunk carpet that runs all the way up on the left side. There are slits in the rug at the top left and I believe it's in that area. You might need to reach in those slits to find a small cable. Don't pull too hard.

Here's a video that shows it. In the Model 3, it's hidden in the slits where you see the electrical wires.
