I had my power trunk retrofit installed in December. I just went through having the console CANBUS connector disconnected, so my HVAC and charging would return to normal. All has been well until today. The trunk stopped opening completely. The button on the trunk lid would wake the car and the GUI would show it open when I hit the button, but the trunk would not open. Two full reboots, nothing. Then, after charging to 80%, it magically started working again. Obviously, this makes me uneasy because I can see myself at the airport trying to get my bags out and the freaking trunk won't open. I wouldn't even be able to get to the manual release if the truck is full. Yes, I know I could drag the bags out from the inside!
