Air conditioned seats - Feature Request

My parents have these on their Merc and Lexus, and at the highest settings makes a rather minor difference. They don't use the feature at all even in summer.

Yes, the Mercedes Benz implementation is very good. I would definitely sign up for this one (and I'm sure I said as much a year ago upthread).

In the new Lexus RX I've ridden in frequently I can't notice they are on at full blast.

Yes, yes, yes. I know it consumes energy, but living in Florida, I can't tell you how much I love the air-conditioned seats of my Lexus LS600hL. I know Mercedes has them also.

Couldn't Tesla put them in the front seats?

Heated seats are occasionally useful down here if you're back is hurting, but the AC seats are awesome. You don't know what you're missing if you don't have them.

I'm assuming there are people from Tesla that peruse this Forum. Hint, hint, hint.....

I don't know if it'll make a difference once I get my money sorted out and Tesla gets around to releasing the X, but this is one of the two features that I feel is missing right now compared to other cars (the other is 360/birdseye view, which rumors suggest is coming soon.) I've only had it in a rental cadillac several years ago, but I really liked it.
