Able to transport an inventory car from different part of the country?

Has anyone been able to get an existing inventory car transported to your local center for purchase? One rep said yes, another said no. Gave me some BS excuse about they don't allow you to buy a car outside of your state in Virginia (which doesn't sound right to me). If they want to charge me a transportation fee thats fine but just want to know I am able to actually do it so I can get a car that I want before end of year.

Would love to honestly. But my state passed a law in October saying we can purchase from out of state
