Holy hell, man! Those rates are crazy-go-nuts BONKERS. Here's the GA Power BEV TOU plan: And the people here complain about high rates, and needing to pay a tariff to bring Vogtle 3&4 reactors online. I may not agree with my neighbors on a lot of politics, but I'll certainly take these...

20 more at $107. Really wish I had more to deploy right now. Touching the emergency fund looks tempting, but pretty sure that could be a divorce-inducing event (which is incredibly problematic as the wife is a divorce attorney). Trying to figure out if I regret buying my MY outright in...

Sure, I'm not saying it's NOT confusing. Personally, I find it awkward, and it still leads to misunderstandings. I'd be all for gender neutral pronouns, but they never seem to take off.

Descriptivist grammar always ends up winning out over prescriptivist grammar, in the end. Language changes through use. The singular "they" is here. The ship has sailed.

No, they haven't. Remember, the Fed isn't looking at the stock market as their main concern. The stock market =/= the economy in the short and medium term. Just like TSLA performance =/= Tesla performance in the short and medium term. Their main goals are total employment and controlling...

I wasn't make a case about share price, but about the fundamentals. From a brand perception standpoint, it's probably better to steer clear of the social noise and focus on results. Certainly not as important as the results themselves, but brand reputation can have an affect on sales.

So, it's not super straight forward, but is possible. I move funds (or allocate future contribs) into a "personalized investment" bucket in Transamerica retirement acct, which go into a Schwab settlement fund, then I can buy from there. Its not user friendly, but works.

The point being he was doing something other than fully engaging, possibly. Like it or not, that's "out of bounds" for the beta test. The system erring on the side of caution right now doesn't seem to be a legitimate fault, just conservative.

I guess somewhat related to this, I've noticed that it sometimes misses speed limit signs (not SUPER frequently, but noticeable enough) and/or is only using outdated map speed limits sometimes. Is there a way to just tell the system it's wrong? Like a voice command "The speedlimit is xx"? I...

    FSD Beta 10.69

That would certainly be way out of line. What will be interesting is the level of "attention" notices / strikes once the system is no longer billed as "beta", though, I think they're going to keep that "beta" tag on there for a long, long time.
  38. Gray Man

    FSD Beta 10.69

Right. In both of these cases, your attention is divided between driving and other tasks. You're signed up as a beta tester. Their rule is to pay attention. How much are these activities detracting from your ability to monitor the road? I don't know. Is it an overreaction? Maybe? I don't...

Mud Flap don’t fit Austin model Y

FWIW, as I mentioned previously on this thread, my 2023 MYLR, picked up on 11/11, built in Austin in October works just fine with the flaps. Perfect fit. I ordered them directly from the Tesla store online. YMMV, but I think the "not compatible" message is a mistake.

Will you diversify your TSLA soon?

I have a lot of different investments already, not just TSLA. I do a a significant (for my net worth) amount of TSLA, but I'm just too "conventional", I guess, to put all of my eggs in one basket. I think TSLA is great, but the future is unknowable. What unforeseen events could occur that...

Subscribed to FSD today how do I make it work?

I have FSD bought up front on my Y. I don't have beta yet, as I am on 2022.40.4.1. You'll likely be waiting for more than those 100 miles. It's looking like beta won't come for people on 2022.40 until v11 rolls out sometime (hopefully) next month.

Subscribed to FSD today how do I make it work?

You almost certainly do not have FSD v11 at this point. What you're probably seeing is the UI v11. What build are you on? The 2022.xx.x number. If you were already on 2022.40.x.x you'll likely be waiting until FSD v11 goes out to the public, as FSDb isn't available on 2022.40.4.x and...

Ok, so adding more sensors to the steering wheel then? The only way it has to know as of now is torqueing. My opinion may be biased in that I've never experienced this "needing to tug hard" thing in my car. I generally just keep a hand on the wheel with a light grip and resist the car's...
