Hi, I need to plug into my friends boat dock power receptacle when I'm there next week. He describes it as 50A, 2 Phase 250V. Here is a picture he took. Anyone know if I can use this and what adaptor I would need?

Marine cables are pricey. You'll have to make an adapter to plug into that, not sure if there any already made to convert that 125/250v 50a Nema SS2-50 to Nema L14-50 in order to use your UMC.

Looks like you'll need this plug if you were to make your own adapter. The description says 125v, but the part no matches the Marinco 250v plug 6365CRN.

Here is an extension cord if you are not able to park close enough which is typically the case with shore power.

Instead of buying a dedicated extension cord for marine shore power, it would be more cost effective to use the adapter shown above and a 14-50 extension cord. You probably already have a 14-50 extension cord (or should).
