Model S December Production email

Two friends in Florida got the email 40xx and 7xxx. Both with 85kWh and air suspension. Both VERY excited.

My other half just woke up, so I guess it's time to talk.

Yup, the one who keeps saying "buy the car already!" when seeing this site on my screen . . . said "buy the car already! click yes!" LOL. . . . I clicked. I e-mailed. I put in my e-mail "I love you all." Hopefully they don't find that creepy.

Needless to say, the more of us responding yes, the less likely this will materialize. Given where they are at in production and today's date, it seems very unlikely the majority of us who have been contacted will actually see a car this month.

Having said that, I already sold my daily driver and my finances are all set, so put me at the head of the line!

Whoops, P.S. I'm P#8061 and signed the MVPA on November 14th, expected delivery Feb-March. Now let's see how these things change in the coming dayz!

^This. So much this. Five pages of replies, and no one has said "No" yet. This has been an emotional roller coaster, to say the least! My confidence level of rocketing up the delivery window has gotten pretty grim. A co-worker of mine, who actually might be more excited about this car than I, even bet me a dollar I'd have the car in the drive by 1/1/13. I told him if that happened, he could even have the first drive!

He's heading to Fremont to apply for a job...

P6286. Had to say NO, as I managed to pay up all the taxes I would have owed in 2012 since I was given a Jan/Feb delivery. Thus, there would not have been a tax credit to use this year. Oh well, you stay alert you lose. I just hope those moving ahead of me in 2012 don't push me further back on delivery.
