No, but probably at some distant point.Do we know if AP/EAP will be moving forward with the V12 AI architecture?
I'm curious how they handle that since AP improvements will just eat into FSD sales. I probably would cancel my subscription if AP used the highway stack.Do we know if AP/EAP will be moving forward with the V12 AI architecture?
Get a gaming console. Or get an RV with a 60" TV in the back and have Ramphex Jr. drive while you enjoy your console quality gaming!I’m still waiting for my console quality gaming lol
Well it still probably won't change lanes and will be limited to the same feature set it has now. So it will have no effect on FSD Beta.I'm curious how they handle that since AP improvements will just eat into FSD sales. I probably would cancel my subscription if AP used the highway stack.
Supposedly pretty much a total scrap since it is no longer C++ code based at all. They likely used the years of training data to feed the NNs for v12.Does v12 use anything from versions prior or were all those years a waste of time software wise?

EDIT: Also this is putting the cart before the horse since v12 doesn't even work on highways yet.
No you haven't. READ your Release Notes. It switches to the v11 stack on highways.I'm curious as to what you mean by "v12 doesn't...work on highways yet."
I use v12 on state highways and country roads all the time.
Yeah, and I want to make a general point here. No, but probably at some distant point.
lol. no, as I said before, y'all are doing our jobs for us.And the junk brigade is, apparently, standing with their collective mouths open
Was it Edison who said “I haven’t failed 100 times, I’ve learned 100 ways that don’t work?”Supposedly pretty much a total scrap since it is no longer C++ code based at all. They likely used the years of training data to feed the NNs for v12.
New customers must get v12.3.1About what? That Supcom could get a loaner?
I think that's the end game, but it will probably be closer to completion. Could be V13 or whatever is necessary to complete.Do we know if AP/EAP will be moving forward with the V12 AI architecture?
I expect that 12.3.1 is coming to 2024.x very soon. Obviously, the delivery staff cannot demo 12.3.1 if it's not available on the car.New customers must get v12.3.1
Maybe your vehicle in service will get priority updates to 12.3.1 in the near-term given the direction from the top: "And please do the same when cars are returned from service. This is very important." Practically software deployment team will probably be prioritized to get this out to all vehicles without additional complications for the service team.I just got notified that the loaner has a software update to 2023.44.30.30 (FSD 12.3.1)
....but not in a 2018 loaner. How will that work and how is it related to service loaners?New customers must get v12.3.1
Can you elaborate? If I've set my max to 58 mph and the road is straight and clear, will the car drive 58?12.3.1's speed control is more robotic, but overall it makes fewer disengagement-worthy mistakes vs 12.3.
God I hope so but we know that integrating, testing for bugs and safety checking takes weeks at best. So even if Tesla is ready to release a 24.x.x with 12.x TOMORROW for wide employee testing we are still weeks away.I expect that 12.3.1 is coming to 2024.x very soon. Obviously, the delivery staff cannot demo 12.3.1 if it's not available on the car....
