I wish-it’s like there is a bottle neck slow roll out, so they hire an efficiency expert to do a 2 year study at $2 million and they conclude u need to get rid of all the things that slow software roll out speed. Now that gotta recoup the $2 million so they add it price of car and they work on...

All Im saying is if a new big update is out-specify criteria and who gets what.? If u do a video state version of vehicle, yr of said vehicle. Dont be generic and list a half dozen criteria’s that only a few have. Boom that simple. What we don’t want is: here’s a new update but only for this...

xlol you academics make everything more complicated than it needs to be.........there are exeptions, the app dont match with the vehicles, depends on where yr car was built, where you reside, time of day, color of your socks, etc.

UMMM NO-auto trunk open should not be advertised for the new update without the disclaimer its just for 2024 models. Its deceptive, misleading and confusing. Youtube videos should start with -new update for 2024 models. Dont spew and boast major new update but just for the 2024...

Ok so last month I got the fsd free trial, I always download the latest Tesla app for phone and the bug fixes but when I view my specs for my car it says 11.1 but in brackets it reads 2024.3.25 ? How do I get caught up to 12. Do I need to be on 12 or can 11 be sufficient for new updates ?

Not sure it matters when it comes to creative coders that incorporate work-a-round solutions. Coders I have faith.

Apple made ALL iPhones since iPhone 11-uwb. It’s a proximity thing. I’m not a coder but if I can open my door with uwb on my phone, can’t be that big of a stretch to open trunk. I’m all in on the coders coming up with a work-a-round.

Ya let us (me) know if the trunk works for u. I am going against the manual and community and putting my trust in the smart coders that they did in fact include the rest of us.

If the new 2024 has this already why put it in the spring update. I still say prove it imperically.

Where does it say new is 2024. I mean its auto open trunk using ryzen computer chip, and us sensors…2022 and 2023 M3 have these. iPhone 11 and above (uwb). So the code to open the trunk only applies to 2024 M3…..I’m not believing that Tesla code creators limited that feature to 2024 models. No way.

Ya Tesla update team why do u tease us with coming soon cool features and the word spring, when spring has sprung. We want it, we need it, so start the North American roll out. Just in time for summer.

Not really conversations just announcing weather, time, concerns and greetings, two way communications would be almost non existent. All yr doing is substituting beeps, texts with verbal confirmations. Turn AC on full…….tesla confirms. “Turning on AC to full confirmed. Is there anything else” ?.

So Tesla says hi and that ruins yr day, dude u got bigger issues than the latest tech updates.

I think Tesla should greet us and maybe a generic notification like “looks like the forecast is calling for rain this afternoon. Did u bring your umbrella”. Maybe a time and date announcement “good morning Mr. Jamison, it’s 7:02 am and 81 degrees, you currently have 36% battery capacity...

Yup-tried all the tricks(premium connectivity, rating 5 stars update reviews, bribing a Tesla tech, traveling to the future, getting a I heart ❤️ Tesla tattoo…..nothing works.

20% matches the roof-illegal in most places. But it looks cool, one long continuous glass and keeps interior cooler temperature.

Ya just installed them last night, took a bit to get clips in, looks good, matches interior light grey trim, can’t see thru them. Just waiting on a hot day. I should mention that u will still need windshield shade for maximum cooling.

Sorry Dave I can’t do that……yet. Sounds like u need a stress pill. A Tesla that’s asks u how u are doing-a simple yet cool feature to rant and complain,sort of like the bug reports only verbal response instead of text.

Teslas are great but I’m curious as to why they don’t speak, they understand voice commands. It sure would be cool if the greeted us when we opened the door or told us the temperature, warned us about speed traps instead of chimes. Kit we need u pal.

So u think but Tesla holds back a lot of hidden features or the techs all of a sudden discover a magical work-a-round that opens the trunk. All these features are already built in and they hype everyone up with “coming soon cool new features” when in fact they were already there, lying hidden...

As does a light colored dash board mat, absorbs direct sunlight so dash is cooler

Slightly no fricken way is it slightly. I got a cheap one with silver side and it’s a lot more cooler, like 25-30 degrees, toss on a windshield sun shade and it’s even more cooler
