Zoom - only available with Premium Connectivity?

I went to use Zoom in the car last night for a meeting but got the attached message. I have not seen anywhere that this feature is linked to Premium Connectivity, anyone else?

I cancelled PC a week ago due to the shambles of a Euro SIM / localised reception issues some of us have been having in the UK.

The car was actually on my home wifi on my drive at the time of the message.

Video streaming requires premium, so I would be surprised if Zoom did not. In any case, the message above is a pretty clear answer to your question.

Yep, it requires it. It’s lame. Even if you’re on WiFi (at home or using a cellular modem / tethering), you can’t use it unless you have Premium Connectivity.

So…..the latest from Tesla attached…….I’ve gone back to them and said…..’well why can’t I and why the message saying it needs PC?’

Unfortunately, Tesla staff are sometimes misinformed, even in Support. The message in your first screenshot is pretty unambiguous.

Tesla did reply again and apologised as Dom was wrong and it does need PC. Doesn’t give you much confidence in their knowledge.
