I am not getting the 3.0 battery. With 245 miles of range in range mode, or about 165 miles on a standard charge and driving it hard like it was meant to be driven, I have 50% more range than I've ever used, and that was a beautiful day in summer when I put on the after-market mesh top and took it outside of town and drove until I got tired, and then turned around and came back. So the extra battery is superfluous. At one time I'd have paid that much for a liquid-cooled PEM. But now with my Model 3 on order, and insufficient parking for both cars, I'll be reluctantly getting rid of the Roadster in a year or 18 months (guessing on delivery time for the 3) and I've got no reason for any upgrades.
