Why does TACC not respond to the distance control setting when AP does?

Have you tried it on 7, drive for a while then turned it down to 1 gradually? I think you need to be going faster than 45 mph for it to work properly. I have only tried it above 60 mph.
Above 70 mph no change. Can't even start with 7 even if you set 7 distance is still lock on 1. I stop the car set it on 5 when stationary accelerate over 60 mph no change distance still set looks like 1-2 or between. BTW thanks for suggestions and help to figure out the problem.

Then I guess your earlier suggestion to call for service will be the next step in getting it fixed.
