When to order before supposed price increase

Was just wondering when people recommend ordering so that I order and still have that 1 week order cancellation to have some leverage in terms of a potential price increase or changes that I like or don't like? I was thinking the second week of April. What do you guys think? Thanks for any information or input,

Hmm. I don't understand this question. If you want to avoid the price increase, order it right now. Prices have not gone up...?

@brkaus has it right. I understand that there isn't a special time or day that anyone knows of I was just wondering what people would speculate is the best thing to do for example order next week
or in two weeks to be ahead of the refresh and price increase and then decide if it is worth cancelling and reprdering if indeed one does occur.

No need to wait. I just placed my order yesterday after speaking with a Delivery Specialist. Just have them schedule your delivery for as late as possible (currently, Oct) so it doesn't go into production anytime soon. Then, wait until the price increase comes later this month. If you like what you see, you'll be able to change your order to include the new features (and increased price). If you don't like what you see, then you can keep your order as is. Once you know what route you are going to take, you can then re-set your delivery time to be "as soon as possible". He wasn't sure if I'd need to pay the $500 change fee or not but in the grand scheme of things, I'm OK with that.

The price will not go up unless there are new features added especially with news of a $35,000 model three that has very competitive features and a nicer, more futuristic glass roof top (imo) at half the price. Base 3 v base 70

On top of that, Tesla just missed their Q1 total delivery goal (Jan-March). Would make it an even stranger time to go into price hikes with no added value.

Nice first post. Welcome to TMC RamshackleZ. I like this answer. It is the best way to game the situation to get the best outcome. Smart delivery specialist.
