Wait, so IKEA across the street is getting 16 stalls and Eastland is getting another 20? Lol 😂 And not counting the existing 16 on the other side of the freeway by 85c bakery. Hahahaha. All bunch up in one area!

MCU2 Upgrade Audio EQ Balancing - Coming From MCU1

Well my left speaker didn’t die but did caused my aftermarket subwoofer not to work. I took it back to them and they said the same thing as you said. Plus saying since it is after market, they aren’t allowed to troubleshoot it. Which is a bunch of horse 🐎 stuff. Anyhow, I spent two days taking...

2018 Model S dies at Supercharger.. Stranded (again)

I’ve been curious about this whole situation when the Tesla dies during SC off hours. How do you coordinate AAA or the option is only available by calling Tesla Roadside and use their tow service to drop off your vehicle at the nearest SC during off hours? Or do you tow it home and coordinate...

Have your service center check large rear drive unit for coolant leakage before warranty expires

Hmm wish I had seen this thread. My warranty expired last month. I had my DU fluid changed twice and coolant flushed three times on my 2015.

    Supercharger - Irvine, CA - 5396 Walnut Avenue (LIVE 2 Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

They should forgo expanding this lot and expanding the one on Culver more. That’s a much larger parking lot with plenty of food places around. I heard someone said Tokyo Central is coming to that heritage plaza.

Supercharger - Las Vegas, NV (High Roller at LINQ)

Wow, if that is true, that would really suck as it was hell of convenience. I wonder if they are gearing for the racetrack coming and hopefully it’s only temporary.

    Right Headlight Malfunction Detected

Same with mine as well. I suspect bad software bug. It occurs, toggle on and off, work fine for a few months before it happens again. No more than three times in a year.

    Supercharger - Tustin, CA - Franklin Ave. (LIVE 26 May 2023, 36 V3 stalls)

Stopped by to check it out. It’s fairly remote and hidden m. Nested between office buildings with closest plaza is Indian Gate and that Korean place nearby. They just opened some cafe in the same parking lot as the charger. While all nearby chargers are full, this place was empty. One one other...

    Right Headlight Malfunction Detected

I just asked the SC to take a look and they estimated 2.1k for replacement?! Didn’t bother checking if it was a bulb issue or something else. Outright quoted 2.1k

Mach-E and my Y. Side by Side pics

True. But in the 8 years, it isolated to my S, but recently 3 my family members have as well, Tesla has - improved manufacturing efficiency - improved in the software. They made multiple improvements to their software. There have been some stepbacks, but their continuous improvement (CI) on...

Mach-E and my Y. Side by Side pics

I agree with the point about their manufacturing efficiency. However, that doesn’t transpose to experience and ultimately quality. How many times have we hear from Tesla their upcoming innovation cut cost by reducing X or Y. Primary example is the Model Y. It was hailed as an innovative feat by...

Mach-E and my Y. Side by Side pics

If you choose a company with experience making a car, then Ford wins. They can make a solid car. But their tech is lagging behind Tesla. Tesla is a software company making cars. They have good tech, but lag behind Ford. They can’t get simple car functions that work well for decades right. Like...

    Ioniq 5 vs Model Y

The Genesis GV60 is a very nice looking car with a horrible range. It has a sub 220, that totally kills it for me. My 2015 MS has about the same range as it now. Otherwise, love the design. It looks like a poor man Porsche. The finger ringer and face recognition , gimmicky.

    Ioniq 5 vs Model Y

I would like the i4 a lot more if they get rid of the rear seat middle hump and integration with Apple car play EV route. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good car.
