GM seems ambivalent. Clearly serious investment has been done to develop Volt and Bolt. But marketing of those cars has been lackluster at best. Fiat Chrysler is actively resistant, openly says the Fiat e500 is a pure compliance car. We see them on the road in SoCal as they are being leased for as low as $39/month. Ford I can't say.

The puzzles to me are Toyota and Honda, both dumping big $$$ into a fuel cell rathole. Toyota seems very resistant to battery electric. Electrek had a scathing review of the Prius Prime plug-in hybrid, claims it's almost impossible to keep in in electric mode.
