Came across this about a mile from our house. Tesla has been testing the Semi on this stretch of highway for a while. We pulled over to give them a "jumpstart" . We talked with the driver and he explained while driving he heard a loud "bang" and then lost all power. We could only assume one of the gearboxes broke because it was leaking transmission fluid under the front between the wheels. While there another Semi pulled up with a tech.So, two in one day out in the wild!

The one we stopped to help was in the suicide lane and the second one was parked two lanes away on the shoulder. In this photo we're parked nose-to-nose and the second one is on the right.



Notice on the "driver's" side, the "A" pillar is missing its cover. The driver said it "fell off" somewhere.

Parked next to a bus but roadster is not that much smaller. The VW type2 bus has a bed and a refrigerator for partying but only added 1 1/2’ in length
