You expect TM to sacrifice profits that no other car dealer/manufacturer in the world would give up? That would be pretty noble. But it could also risk shareholder lawsuits since TM is legally bound to make all reasonable efforts to pursue shareholder value. Sell your car privately and you will likely fare better just like with any other vehicle.
