Biden just said "Tesla, our nation's largest electric vehicle manufacturer"

Not a coincidence.

It was all about that Gene Simons tweet.

Hard to play dumb when pop culture comes knocking at your door.

Haven't you heard
There's a new revolution
Gotta spread the word
Too much confusion

Would be nice to get some corroboration on this, but this native German speaker apparently watched the water suit proceedings and came to the below conclusion. I think they're saying that it will take some time for the process to be restarted, during which time Tesla can utilize the already-contracted water supplies. The "environmentalists" will still have an opportunity to sue at the end of the process (whenever that is - it looks like the poster is saying in about a year?) to overturn the water contract.

Is German bureaucracy going to work in our favour now?

He just said it a few minutes ago, but also had the IBEW and Siemens on stage to help prop up unions in the US as all of their workers are unionized in Germany...
Just seems to be the exact same language. Again I am not surprised by the tact. As much as I love Tesla praising the company in Texas and California that is going to kill jobs in the rust belt isnt good for Democratic politicians even if they 100% support the mission. The problem is US voters being so short term focused and one party that will tell Coal/Oil workers dont worry about learning new skills we will protect your jobs (as the Coal mine closes behind them and they take money from the Coal barons).

They're talking about uranium on CNBC. They brought in some nuclear specialists and he's saying the US needs to stop getting materials from Russia and that we only have one enrichment facility in the US. We need to in essence stop dealing with social/political enemies and source locally. Yes, that all sounds great, yet uranium is being sold off in the markets. /smh

Except that they HARD CORE lobby against rooftop solar. They want to control things, they don't want to give their customers the right to produce their own power.

Considering Tesla wants 100 grand to install solar plus batteries on my house, I’ll take that deal. Rooftop solar NEVER pays back on my house.

The path from Kansas or Oklahoma to Austin isn't that long and isn't significantly affected by weather. Isn't crossing international borders, isn't going through a port, in practical terms it's about the same issue if it were across town. They still have to ship it and that minor distance might be offset by cost savings (taxes or labor if the other state offers a good deal).

If this ends up in KS, in all likelyhood it will be in Desoto KS where Sunflower Ammunition plant use to be. This has access to a major highway and rail hub. Plenty of workers between KC and the surrounding suburbs. The state of KS recently approved like 1B in subsidies for a projected 4K jobs. The site was once proposed to be a Wizard of Oz theme park, but that never materialized. This would be a huge win for the KC area.
