There's also a charging station in Barnstable right off of 6A at the Barnstable County Complex and there are a couple of Inns nearby.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check them out and post about the experience here. I got a reply from the guy in Provincetown btw, saying they've had lots of discussions about EV charging stations, but nothing official yet.

However, I doubt anyone in Tesla marketing likes it and I seriously doubt that most prospective hosts at malls or rest stops will permit such a provocative shape to be prominently displayed to the public.

Superchargers constructed and put on place in 2013

Hi guys, I was just wondering if there are any new (confirmed) superchargers being currently constructed or getting constructed in 2013? I bet there must be a HUGE interest for more superchargers all across the US.

Some theories are bouncing around that the three mid-Texas superchargers might be announced, when Elon is in Austin at SXSW.
Anyone have any data or opinions on this?

Apparently there's one coming in Bloomington, IL soon. (semi-confirmed--contractor that has been contacted and a dealer in the area were aware)

Any plans for Superchargers in Richmond VA or Norfolk VA? Would love to be able to go to the outer banks NC but it's about 270 miles... Without a SC it would unfortunately be an ICE trip...

Went to Hawthorne superchargers today and they were "out of order" :scared:.

All of them? Last time I was there only the two right most spots were setup--the others are future. The lobby is open weekdays and they can help. Did you talk to the receptionist?

Is it me or does Tesla have to gather more momentum to reach 100 stations working by EOY 2013? What is the lull about? Trouble getting permissions, finding property owners, dealing with PUs? Any new information?
