These early invites are really something special for those of you who were line waiters.

I don't believe any online folks have been invited to configure (other than if you were a roadster owner etc.) yet. I reserved online as soon it opened, a Tesla owner from 2013 and live 1.5 miles from the factory!! I would think I would be in the first wave of online config invitations but that would mean figuring some logic in this - which I am sure only Tesla knows! I did get an offer to upgrade my 21 month old Model X couple of days ago!!What about the online people???
If I had a choice of buying bitcoin or waiting in line...I would have waited in line!!!
just got mine ... see above postI don't believe any online folks have been invited to configure (other than if you were a roadster owner etc.) yet. Call them and ask. There must be many with the same dilemma.
Sorry I was talking about the guys who ordered online vs stood in line at the store. Seems like you ordered at the store.just got mine ... see above post
I'm hoping you are going to pass on that 2nd, would be kind of lame to take 2 while 400,000 other wait.
But hopefully his means a fresh batch of invites have gone out.
Curious, what do your estimates show for first production and dual motor?I don't believe any online folks have been invited to configure (other than if you were a roadster owner etc.) yet. If you can post a copy of your invite email, we might be able to give you a better answer.Got the invite this morning. Owner, line-waiter. Anybody know if Tesla is committing to delivery before end of year? This is obviously regarding the EV credit situation.
Owner in CA with 1 Model S and 2 Model 3 reservations. Just got my SECOND reservation to configure. Already configured my first Model 3 on 11/22.
Wow.
I was invited to order today as well. I am a previous owner, line waiter on the east coast. There was no date range listed (not even 4 weeks) so I called and they said it most likely won't be this year because everything they heard was 4 weeks. My order was placed today.
We will likely know by the end of next week if the tax credit is staying in next year, if things progress the way they are right now. I definitely wanted my tax credit this year but since that's not gonna happen I'm just hoping it will be there next year. If not, I'm still buying the same car because I need the long range and I want the premium upgrade.Tax credit is the reason. If I don't get this year, I would rather get a later production car. I hate having to gamble.
Had you previously selected AWD in the delivery estimator?Ditto. Wife and I both stood in line.
Her M3 is coming.
I deferred to await AWD “Spring, 2018” ... needed for snow trips.
Yes, but if you had to trade in your sunshade, would you?

same here... I REALLY wanted the tax credit this year. Oh well. I'll still get the LR+PUP though, but I'll delay buying a couple months to pay some taxes! Jul-sep 2018Curious, what do your estimates show for first production and dual motor?
I'm Jun-Aug 2018 for AWD currently. (and Early 2018 for standard battery, and Nov.-Jan. for first production). I'm assuming you match me for first production, so possibly looking at the AWD dates that are further out can get us a bit more resolution to determine order within the first production group.Jul-sep 2018
