Tesla now offers Energy service appointments via the app?

Just spotted this post on Reddit, where a user found the Tesla app now can schedule service for energy products just like the vehicles: Just noticed Tesla app now has a service option under solar page, wasn’t there previously : teslamotors

Sounds like a big step toward better customer service and easier repairs. Anyone else seeing it in their Tesla app?

Just updated the app, and no new option - on android and solarglass + PW. Noticed the reddit link is solar only. So maybe they are rolling it out on a test basis or just to a subset of customers.

I think you may be right. I started with solar only, and later added more solar + powerwalls. I can see both the PW/TEG and the original solar sections in my app. The PW/TEG does not have a Service section, but the solar only page does.

I see it in my app as well, however its just like @destructure00 I have a solar city PV system on my roof, from 2015. Added Powerwalls January 2020. When I swipe over to the solar portion of the app, I see a "SERVICE" section (I dont have impact or energy usage there, as they did not install a neurio with my solar city install). I also have less options available for service than he does but its there in the solar section for me.

Not there in the powerwall section.

Tesla App 3.10.8
iOS 13.6.1 (this likely doesnt matter but included since asked)

It seems like this is appearing for Tesla app v3.10.8 regardless of platform, but only for panel-only systems.

Hopefully they add Solar Roof and Powerwall soon. I'm glad to see Tesla experimenting with these improvements.
